No Reserve: 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Basketcase
This 1970 Ford Mustang (chassis 0F02G129944) is sold with a Marti report and build sheet confirming it as an original Boss 302. Though in need of complete and extensive restoration, sale includes what’s believed to be the original motor, transmission and rear end. Also described as mostly complete, a few years ago it would have been unlikely that this car would be restored, but rising values now give it a good chance of seeing the open road again. Find it here on eBay in Butler, Pennsylvania with no reserve and fast bidding.
All Troll No GM: 1993 Saab 900 5-Speed
This 1993 Saab 900 is a very well kept example of the last year of classic, pre-GM production. Featuring the excellent SAAB 16 valve four cylinder literally stacked atop a 5-speed manual, this car promises good performance wrapped in an odd if slightly staid looking package. Of course we wish it was a three door (or even better the European market five door), but three pedals and nicely preserved cosmetics are definitely pluses for this one. Find it here on Auto Trader Classics in Maywood, New Jersey for $4,500.
No Reserve: 1962 Triumph Herald 1200 Convertible
This 1962 Triumph Herald 1200 convertible (chassis Y14558LCV) is said to run and drive well and looks much better than 90% we normally see offered for sale. It’s been repainted several times over the years and the redone interior dates from the 1980’s, but the seller describes it as a usable driver which is definitely a good thing. Find it here on eBay in Salem, Oregon with no reserve.
1957 DKW Schnellaster Service Van Project
This 1957 DKW Schnellaster is offered for restoration, the ad noting that someone seems to have attempted to fit a VW motor in place of its original two stroke three cylinder. Rust is a big sticking point on these vans, but provided it’s not totally rotten we think it’s definitely worth saving–with a correct motor, preferably.
