Ferrari Parts Bin Special: 250 GTO Tribute Project
This re-body kit is comprised of an interesting mix of vintage Ferrari parts as well as a steel body shell recreated by Carrozzeria Allegretti, a known builder of good quality reproduction bodywork. Parts include a 1961 250 GTE chassis, a 330 GT V12 and a 365 GT4 5-speed transmission. Find it here on eBay in Tenafly, New Jersey with an unmet $75k opening bid and additional reserve. Baur Bodied Cabrio: 1964 BMW 700
This 1964 BMW 700 is an especially rare cabrio version that looks like a good little driver. According to the seller it could stand to be tuned-up despite currently running, and though we’re not certain of its accuracy, the odometer’s reading of 40k-odd miles is quoted within the ad’s text. 1990 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V
This 1990 Lancia Delta Integrale 16V (VIN ZLA831AB000498955) was recently imported from Japan where it is said to have had active registration–as the owner points out, Japan has very strict inspection requirements, and this car apparently met them. Because the model was introduced in 1989, we are excited to finally see 16 valve Integrales being imported to the US. Find this one here on eBay in Jacksonville, Florida with reserve not met.
Cold A/C: Tidy 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI
This 1983 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI (VIN VWDC0178DV011256) is said to be all original apart from a few touch-ups and looks very nice in photos. Cold-blowing A/C is a rarity on these cars, especially as it wasn’t even always optioned. Further claimed to be 99.99% rust free and fully functional, it will need new shocks and a radiator flush but sounds to be sorted otherwise.
