Rare 2CV Cabrio: 1967 Citroen Azelle

Citroen Azelle

This 1967 Citroen Azelle (chassis 7105175) is an attractively styled convertible version of the marque’s famous 2CV. Styled like a French take on the VW Hebmüller, this quirky cabrio appears as if it’d be equally comfortable travelling either forward or backwards. Said to be the only one in the United States, this example is bound to turn even more heads than the already-odd standard car. Find it here on eBay in Cave Creek, Arizona with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Jos S. for this submission.

390/406 Mystery: 1962 Ford Galaxie Post 4-Speed

62 Ford Galaxie 001

This 1962 Ford Galaxie comes from the days of the marque’s, “Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday” mantra. Presented in bright red with a red and white interior, this car looks a lot like some of Fords early Super Stock drag cars raced by guys like Phil Bonner and Gas Ronda. With a 390, 4-speed and a killer stance we think it’s just about perfect as-is. Find it here on the H.A.M.B. in Springfield, Illinois for $28,500 .

Flathead V8 Powered 1940 Ford Panel Delivery

Ford Other Panel Delivery Van

This 1940 Ford Panel Delivery (chassis 185738124) is a largely well restored example of this first year model. Following on the controversial oval nose of the ’39 models, these more conventionally styled–and much better looking–1940 and ’41 trucks were a pleasant comeback for the blue oval brand. We like this one’s colors, flathead V8 and original wide black and yellow plates, and though attractive from a few feet it remains just scruffy enough to use properly. Find it here on eBay in Smithtown, New York with reserve met.
