Last and Best: 22K Mile 1988 Porsche 924 S
This 1988 Porsche 924 S (VIN WP0AA0927JN451808) is a claimed low mile example of the final year–and best–narrow body 924. Guards Red over black leather is probably one of the best color schemes for this model, and everywhere photographed this one looks as good as the mileage figure suggests it should. Find it here on Craigslist in North Bergen, New Jersey for $8,500.
Chassis Plate Controversy: 1971 Toyota 2000GT Chassis 10001
This 1971 Toyota 2000GT (chassis MF10-10001, Yamaha serial 003) is claimed by the seller to be “a very rare vehicle of a prototype”, though their seemingly intentionally vague language may be in response to some doubt cast by Japanese Nostalgic Car over their previous claims that the car was the third of three pre-production prototypes. Regardless of the real story, it’s still a 2000GT and is said to be unrestored with only 31k and change kilometers from new. Kreampuff Kaiser: Restored 1960 Jeep CJ5
This 1960 Jeep CJ5 (chassis 57548109691) is a Kaiser built model and was the recipient of a full rotisserie restoration just last year. It is one of the best old CJ’s we have seen in quite some time and it can be found in Plymouth, MI here on eBay with a BIN of $22,900. The odometer does show 99,837, but that number doesn’t mean what it used to, as every part of this truck has been gone through extensively.
Well Kept 5-Speed: 1987 Nissan Maxima SE
This 1987 Nissan Maxima (VIN JN1HU11P4HT322940) is offered for sale by a dealer but is claimed to have had one prior owner. We dig the widened fender flares, punchy V6 and 5-speed manual, and condition looks to be excellent throughout. Mileage is a little high at 137k and change, but spec, color and the third pedal make it worth a closer look. Find it here on eBay in Canton, Georgia with a $5,990 BIN.
