V8 Swapped 1964 Volkswagen Squareback
8/31/2015 Update: Over two years later, this wildly modified Squareback is again available. Condition looks very similar, and we have added more photos including the V8 engine bay shot. Find it here on eBay in Santa Ynez, California with reserve not met.
Buick V8 Swapped: 1971 Triumph GT6
This 1971 Triumph GT6 is the first we have ever seen with an all aluminum Buick V8 swap. Paint is said to be original and the fit and finish looks very good. Unusual for a swap like this, the seller says that the car has “No issues whatsever,” and also that the car has been owned by the same person for 44 years. Find it here on Craigslist in Cape Cod, Massachusetts for $12,500.
Ex-Forestry Service: 1977 Dodge Pick-Up
This 1977 Dodge Shortbed is a very stock looking ex-Forestry service truck that appears to be in good cosmetic and mechanical condition. Fitted with a 318, 4-speed and no radio this truck is about as basic as they came in the mid-late 1970s. From its heavy-duty spring induced rake to its aggressive rear tires, this truck is truly a workman’s friend. Find it here on Craigslist in Beaverton, Washington for $3,995. Special thanks to BaT reader Jobrated for this submission.
Lemon Lime: 1955 Studebaker President Speedster
This 1955 Studebaker President Speedster appears to be a partially restored example of the marques first major repackaging of the ’53 Loewy coupes. Finished in a gaudy–but factory correct–lemon and lime color scheme that seems more appropriate for a retro diner booth than a car, very little hard info is provided but it does look to be in good shape and is said to be a rust free California car. Find it here on eBay in Morgan Hill, California with no reserve beyond an unmet $18,500 starting bid.
