1968 Triumph TR250 Project
This 1968 Triumph TR250 (chassis CD220L) is a North American model that was identical to the rest-of-world TR5 save for carburetion in place of that car’s Lucas fuel injection. Though this one needs a complete restoration, the seller says it’s all original with 42k miles and good bones despite some body rust. Find it here on Craigslist in Newburyport, Massachusetts for $12,500.
Aluminum & Ash: Running 1950 AC 2 Litre Project
This 1950 AC 2 Litre two door saloon has been sitting it the seller’s shop for several years but starts and runs, the ad noting that the top end and carbs appear to have been serviced semi-recently. The stripped bodywork is said to be very straight, and though corrosion free due to its aluminum construction, the seller does note that the ash frame beneath will need restoration. Find it here on eBay in Marshall, Michigan with a $6,200 BIN.
50 Year Ownership: 1964 Triumph TR4
This 1964 Triumph TR4 was cared for by its original Washington-state owner for fifty years, during which time fewer than 69k miles were accumulated. The late owner’s wife states that the car was her husband’s pride and joy, and that he always garaged it when not in use. Its black exterior and bright trim look to be in well above-average condition, lending weight to the car’s claimed history. Find it here on eBay. in Portland, Oregon with reserve not met.
Attractive Survivor: 56K Mile 1961 Citroen ID19
This 1961 Citroen ID19 is a largely original car with an impressively low 56k original miles and what the seller describes as a great patina. A Southwestern car, the ad further claims that it remains free of rust with well maintained mechanics–check out the ad for links to several videos showing the operation of its various systems including oleopneumatics.
