BaT is Hiring: Make a Great Living From Anywhere
As you may have noticed, BaT Auctions are thriving. In fact we’re getting so many cars submitted every day that we can hardly keep up. We need help.
Are you someone who loves classic cars, has fantastic people skills, and can write? We’re looking to add a couple of “seller’s agents” to the BaT team. Your job will be to help sellers move from a completed application for a BaT-worthy car to a successful auction, and the pay is great. Best of all, since the auctions are online you can work from anywhere. Imagine making a great living working from your own home, or just about anywhere else.
If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, send an email to work@bringatrailer.com with the following: (1) your resume and contact info, (2) a quick note about why you’re a great fit for the role, and (3) a mock auction listing for an interesting car that’s for sale online somewhere (but not already on BaT).
We’re taking applications until next Friday (September 25), so don’t delay. If your application captures our attention we’ll write back with next steps. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Original Ruby Red: 1959 Porsche 356A
This 1959 Porsche 356A (chassis 107374) is from the last year of low light and low bumper production. One of the more popular 356 bodies for outlaw builds, these late A’s feature the early model aesthetic with a number of chassis improvements implemented over a decade of production. Find this one here on eBay in Pleasanton, California with a $79,995 BIN. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Faux Woodie: Nicely Restored 1960 Willys Utility Wagon
This 1960 Willys Wagon represents one of the last four years of the iconic longroof Jeep. This one is the subject of a 10 year old restoration and is said to be in very good, solid condition. Equipped with an L-head six, 3-speed transmission and 2-speed transfer case, it’s easily one of the nicer examples we’ve seen in some time. Find it here on Hemmings in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for $21,500.
1979 International Harvester Scout Rallye
This 1979 International Harvester Scout Rallye (chassis J0062JDG37957) is a 76k mile example of the final Scout bodystyle. Featuring original paint, fading but attractive graphics and a selection of period-appropriate add-on hardware, this rare off-roader harks back to a time when you could clean mud from the floors of your truck with a garden hose. We miss these kinds of trucks. Find it here on eBay in Cochranville, Pennsylvania with no reserve.
Matching Numbers: 1967 Sunbeam Tiger MkII
This Sunbeam Tiger MkII (chassis B382100620) is said to have been in storage for many years, potentially lending credence to its claimed 56,000 mile total. Now wearing a red repaint over its factory-original #86 Forest Green, we also note several missing exterior trim items which were exclusive to the relatively low-production MkII. Find it here on eBay in Ormond Beach, Florida with reserve not met.
