Rare In White: Mercedes-Benz 500E

This 1993 Mercedes Benz 500E (VIN WDBEA36E7PB969492) is said to be one of 498 built that year and wears rare factory Arctic White paint. We’re on the fence about 19″ Carlsson wheels, but the rest looks good and sounds to have been well-kept, with recent work including fitment of a new water pump, wiring harness, mass air flow sensor, throttle body and more. Find it here on eBay in Scottsdale, Arizona with reserve not met.

Colorado Yard Sale: Thirty Plus Citroen DS/ID Projects

Colorado Yard of 30 Citroens For Sale

This seller is offering 30 plus Citroen DS/ID variants, though the auction at hand sounds to be for just one car–most likely the pre-1968 sedan featured at the top of the auction and this story. Written information is minimal, the seller stating only that all cars are in need of restoration and that they are not interested in part-outs. Find them all here on eBay in Colorado Springs, Colorado with no reserve beyond an unmet $200 opening bid. Special thanks to BaT reader Joseph G. for this submission.

1976 Honda Civic Lady Prototype

This 1976 Honda Civic “Lady” prototype was reportedly shown at the 1976 Geneva motor show. Find it here on AutoTrader in Heijen, Netherlands for 19,750 euros (~$21,600 USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader Wouter H. for this submission.

No Tailfins: 1951 Buick Super Eight Convertible

s-l1600

This 1951 Buick Super Eight (chassis 64382325) is a good looking driver example that sounds to need little more than a new convertible top. Buick held on to the straight eight configuration longer than most manufacturers, save Packard and Pontiac who churned them out through the end of 1954. Find this one here on eBay in Bristol, Pennsylvania with no reserve.

Manual Swap Candidate: 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi

Group B Yellow: 91k-Mile Chrysler Conquest TSI

This 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi (VIN JJ3CC54N7JZ009264) is a well preserved example of the Mitsubishi-made rear wheel drive sports car. Neither the color nor the automatic transmission are ideal, but those box flares and wheels will always be among the very best of the 80’s. Find it here on eBay in Cream Ridge, New Jersey for $6,700 OBO.

British Beemer: 1950 Sunbeam S8

Side 1

This 1950 Sunbeam S8 is a model heavily influenced by WWII BMW designs. So good were BMW’s bikes of the time that Ural still produces an R71-derived bike today. This Sunbeam is based on the R75, but sports a more British vertical twin as opposed to the familiar BMW boxer unit. Find it here on Cycle Trader in Farmington Hills, Michigan for $10,995.
