99% Complete: 1968 Jaguar E-Type Project
This 1968 Jaguar E-Type Convertible (chassis 1E17973) was purchased as a project seven years ago and has since stalled. Described as 99% complete, the car includes some removed trim and interior parts though their condition seems to vary. Find it here on eBay in Carmel, Indiana with no reserve. This 1983 Lotus Esprit Turbo (VIN sccfc40a9dhf60402) is number 20 of 50 so-called “Investor Edition” cars, which were offered only to individuals who helped fund the marque’s return to the US that same year. The seller states that it starts and runs, though admits it could use some tuning. Find it here on eBay in Frederick, Maryland with no reserve beyond an unmet $16k opening bid. Rare In White: 1993 Mercedes Benz 500E
This 1993 Mercedes Benz 500E (VIN WDBEA36E7PB969492) is said to be one of 498 built that year and wears rare factory Arctic White paint. We’re on the fence about 19″ Carlsson wheels, but the rest looks good and sounds to have been well-kept, with recent work including fitment of a new water pump, wiring harness, mass air flow sensor, throttle body and more. Find it here on eBay in Scottsdale, Arizona with reserve not met.
Colorado Yard Sale: Thirty Plus Citroen DS/ID Projects
This seller is offering 30 plus Citroen DS/ID variants, though the auction at hand sounds to be for just one car–most likely the pre-1968 sedan featured at the top of the auction and this story.
