$22K Restoration: 1979 Fiat Brava Two Door
This 1979 Fiat Brava (chassis 131A30398836) was recently restored to the tune of $22k, and though cosmetics remain imperfect, mechanicals sound thoroughly gone-over. It's true that beige paint and oversized US bumpers don't do much to excite, but the other ingredients go a long way to make up for its deficiencies: a twin cam engine, a 5-speed manual and rear wheel drive, namely. Find it here on eBay in Santa Cruz, California with no reserve.
One Repaint: 1985 Renault 5 Turbo 2
This 1985 Renault 5 Turbo II is listed without much in the way of hard info, but the car does sound to be in good drivable condition with only a few minor issues noted. According to the seller, the car was repainted once by a previous owner and has since been further modified with aftermarket seats and exhaust, however originals are present and included in the sale. Find it here on eBay in San Diego, California for $78,500 OBO.
AMG E36 Tribute: Flared & Swapped 1994 Mercedes Benz CE320
This 1994 Mercedes Benz CE320 has been converted into an AMG E36 tribute with 500E-sourced fender and quarter flares, bumpers and more. Power comes from a 3.6 M104 donated by a 1995 AMG C36, and grunt is passed rearwards through a 5-speed manual and limited slip diff-equipped rear end. These pillarless W124 coupes are seriously good looking and well-built cars, and this one is very similar to a build we’ve been dreaming about for years now. Find it here on Craigslist in Burbank, California for $16,500. Special thanks to BaT reader sasha3007 for this submission.
Awkward Charm: 1969 Iso Fidia
This 1969 Iso Fidia is said to be both original and in “perfect working status”. This model has always straddled a narrow valley, with ungainly on the one side, and strangely attractive on the other, but small block Chevy power and a rare manual transmission have us leaning more towards the latter with this example. Find it here on eBay.co.uk in Valencia, Spain for 35k euros (~39,700 USD today) OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
