Mach 2 Bargain Bin: 1965 MiG 21PF

Lead

This 1965 Mikoyan MiG 21PF (airframe  433372128) is a good looking example of the Soviet Union’s iconic jet interceptor. Offered with logs back to new, it is currently airworthy and originally served with the Czech air force, who only recently phased out the model in favor of the significantly more advanced SAAB Gripen. If there is a cheaper route into supersonic flight, we’d love to see it. Find this one here on Trade a Plane in Immokalee, Florida for $185k.

Meadow Green: 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 327/4-Speed

1964-Chevrolet-Impala-SS-for-sale-Three-Quarter

This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS is a great looking Meadow Green example that’s had quite a bit of work done by the seller. Featuring a non-original 327 and swapped-in 4-speed manual, the car is currently drivable but the ad does note a few small, relatively easy to remedy issues. Find it here on eBay in South Dennis, Massachusetts with a $15,500 BIN.

Factory 1-of-1: 1968 Pontiac LeMans Sport Truck Prototype

1968 Pontiac LeMans Sport Truck Front

This 1968 Pontiac LeMans is the only of its kind, a factory-built concept which unfortunately never made its way into production. While essentially an El Camino built on the LeMans platform, the wrap-around Pontiac bumper certainly makes for a striking alternative to the Chevy. Like any concept, we can only bemoan what might have been, though we are pleased to know that this one is fully functional. Find it here on Hemmings in Birmingham, Alabama for $49k. Special thanks to BaT reader Dave D. for this submission.

Collection Sell-Off: Two 1969 Honda S800 Coupes

1969 Honda S800 Front

10/23/2015 Update: Three months later, this red Honda is now listed here on eBay out of Los Angeles. Special thanks to BaT reader Nicholas D. for this update!

7/25/2015 Update: The red car sold for $19,725 and the yellow roller sold for $13,433.33.

From 7/18/2015:

These two 1969 Honda S800 coupes are on offer by the same, apparently serial Honda collecting seller as part of a bid for more room. Though both are sold with minimal information, the red car (chassis AS800C10007719) is assumed to be running as only the yellow one (chassis AS8001001800) is said to need work. Find them both on ebay in Port Orange, Florida with no reserve — the red car here and the yellow one here.
