Assembly Required: 1977 Lotus Esprit in Pieces
This 1977 Lotus Esprit is said to be complete, but was totally disassembled by the seller. Though the project looks to be well organized, the ad makes no bones about the scope of work ahead, stating “if you are not familiar with this car, it is probably not for you.” Note that the picture below is of the car before it was taken apart. Find it here on Craigslist in Edgewood, Washington for $6k. Special thanks to BaT reader Paul L. for this submission.
Two Stroke Screamer: 1990 Honda NSR250R
This 1990 Honda NSR250R (VIN MC211004561) is among the most sophisticated two stroke sport bikes that can be had in America today. This handsome bike retains its original plastics, and with just 6,900 miles on the odometer, has apparently lived a fairly easy life. Find it here on eBay in Arlington, Virginia with an $8,500 BIN.
Never Seen One: 1956 Paramount Ten Roadster
This 1956 Paramount Ten Roadster is claimed to be one of three of these limited production roadsters still in existence. Many of Britain’s small postwar automakers have been all but forgotten, though they are often affordable to run as many used humble powerplants like this Ford 10 powered example does. Find it here on eBay in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England for 20k GBP (~$30,400 today). Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Unusual Race Build: 1975 Dino 308 GT4
This 1975 Dino 308 GT4 has been converted for race use by its previous owner, though the ad is vague to as whether it ever saw use in competition. Build quality looks to be very good, though again it’s unclear as to whether the car is actually FIA certified. Regardless, this kind of build is very unusual, and the seller sums it up nicely: “still cheaper than a competition Porsche, but much more exotic.” Find it here at Albion in Temse, Belgium for 95k euros (~$102k USD today).
