Mysterious 1978 De Tomaso Deauville
This 1978 De Tomaso Deauville has been with the current owner for the last eighteen years who had purchased it from the original owner. It sounds like the car was in storage for some time as well. Aside from recommendations of fresh paint and the fact another 351 Cleveland has replaced the original, little other information is provided in the ad along with a small compilation of older low-res photos. Find it here on eBay in Cedar Crest, New Mexico with reserve not met.
BaT Auction Success Story: Datsun 240Z Arrives at Griot’s Garage
This just in from the buyer at Griot’s Garage, who purchased the Datsun 240z via BaT Auctions last month (link):
“The car arrived at our shop on Monday. It was exactly as described, and was driven from Whitefish, Montana to Tacoma, Washington with no issues at all. We are really happy to do business with you. We look forward to the next one.
Here are some pictures of the car during the trip home with a final shot in our shop. As you can see in the background we have another 240Z fresh from the paint shop that was painted back to its original Persimmon Red color. We enjoy good original cars and this one found a loving home. Thanks again for your help!

1955 Gibson Aljo 14ft Travel Trailer
This 1955 Gibson Aljo 14ft Travel Trailer has been restored by the appropriately named specialists Canned Ham Heroes. Restored but not substantially modernized, this trailer has cooking facilities but lacks a bathroom, as trailers from this era generally emphasized light weight and interior space over an abundance of features and gadgets as trailers today tend to have. Find it here on eBay in Redmond, Oregon for $14,995 OBO.
