This 1970 Porsche 911S Targa is said to have been displayed at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg museum in the early 80s during which it was heavily damaged in a fire. Though a total wreck, the car is described as matching-numbers, PCOA certified and is sold with a clear title. Find it here on Craigslist in Portland, Oregon for $50k. Special thanks to BaT reader Thomas B. for this submission.
62nd Built: 1965 Lamborghini 350GT
This 1965 Lamborghini 350GT (chassis 0343) is the brand’s 62nd production car, stylishly bodied by Carozzeria Touring. Owned for some time by the president of the Japan Lamborghini Owner’s Club, it was repainted in its present metallic green from its original light ivory under his ownership, but remains numbers-matching and largely original otherwise. Find it here on eBay in San Diego, California for $925k OBO.
Fin Overload: 1960 Plymouth Fury Two Door Hardtop
This 1960 Plymouth Fury two door hardtop is claimed to be rust-free, and still sports its wonderful original interior. By 1960 many American brands were beginning to lose their fins, but for the unitized 1960 Fury, Plymouth opted to go all the way. Find it here on Craigslist in Chester, Virginia for $18,500.
Patriotic Rarity: 1970 AMC Rebel “The Machine”
This 1970 AMC Rebel “The Machine” followed the ’69 SC/Rambler as AMC’s highest performance and most patriotic muscle car. While the Javelin and AMX plied the pony car market, the more conventional Machine assaulted the muscle car scene with its ostentatious paintwork and potent 390 cubic inch V8. Built for only one year, final production numbers reached just 2,326. Find this one here on Craigslist in Surrey, BC, Canada for $35k (~$26,200 USD today if listed in CAD). Special thanks to BaT reader Glen A. for this submission.
