No Reserve: Nicely Restored 1988 Ford Mustang SSP Cop Car
This 1988 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 (VIN 1FABP40E3JF252689) is an SSP car used by the Oregon State Police. Purchased in good driving condition with OK cosmetics, the seller then set about bringing up exterior and cabin cosmetics up to snuff. The results are impressive, and a simple black notchback 5-speed with cop car steelies is just about as cool as a Fox body gets. Find it here on eBay in Colbert, Washington with no reserve.

Much Nicer Than Most: 1985 Maserati Biturbo E
This 1985 Maserati Biturbo E looks better than most example, though its claimed 47k miles isn’t exceptionally low for the model. It’s easy to blame this on the model’s reputation for substandard reliability, a problem more present on these earlier carbureted, three valve versions. Still, decades of after-factory development has ironed out many of these issue, and the seller says this one has just been gone through “front-to-back” by a local model specialist. Find it here on Craigslist in Lexington, South Carolina for $6,500.
Road & Track Build: 1967 MGC GTS
This 1967 MGC is a replica of the endurance racers run by the Abingdon works racing team in the mid to late 1960s. This apparently road-legal car has been used for track days and trips to Goodwood and is said to be fast and reliable. Find it here at Albion Motorcars in Temse, Belgium for 59,500 euros (~$65,400 USD today).
