Deux-Deux Chevaux: 1961 Citroen 2CV Sahara 4×4
This 1961 Citroen 2CV Sahara 4×4 (chassis 4005 000040, production number 0033) is one of just 27 still known to exist of 694 originally made. Several companies built cars with two gasoline engines as prototypes, including VW and GM, but only the heroic madmen at Citroen thought it’d be a good idea to sell one to the public. Find this one here on Catawiki in Kissing, Germany with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Bram for this submission.
Non-US Fastback: 1970 Audi 100 Coupe S
This 1970 Audi 100 Coupe S is said to be a two-owner, rust-free car. This model was never sold in the American market, and this one is said to have just 21k and change kilometers from new. The car has received a bit of restorative work, and was reportedly stripped down and thoroughly cleaned before being reassembled. Though currently in South Africa, the seller invites inquiries on available shipping options. Find it here on Craigslist for $24k USD. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Chamonix on Red: 43K Mile 1979 BMW 733i
This 1979 BMW 733i (chassis 5786191) is said to be very original in most respects with 43k miles from new. Nearly eight inches shorter and half a ton lighter than the just-replaced F01 chassis 7-series, these are still pretty large, comfortable cars from behind the wheel and will probably long outlast their overly-complex modern counterparts as they both age. Find this one here on eBay in Morton Grove, Illinois for $7,700 OBO.
Tastefully Upgraded 61K Mile 2001 Audi S4
This 2001 Audi S4 has had many costly and necessary service items recently performed by the technician owner. Apart from a limited number of Ur-S4/S6 plus models with the 4.2 liter V8, the B5 S4 was the brand’s first serious non-I5 powered performance model. This one looks very well-kept with under 61k miles. Find it here on Craigslist in Tacoma, Washington for $14k. Special thanks to BaT reader Chris G. for this submission.
