Spares Galore: Nearly Finished 1968 Fiat Dino Spider Resto w/ No Reserve
This 1968 Fiat Dino Spider is offered as a stalled, but apparently nearly complete restoration project. Begun 30 years ago, the seller says that work included rust repair, rebuilding of the suspension and brake systems, fitment of a new interior, fresh paint and more. The car looks very well-finished thus far, and has been fitted with a rebuilt, dyno-tuned motor. Sourced from a variety of Fiat and 206 Dinos, one assembled and complete engine, as well as three largely complete, disassembled spares are also included. Other extras consist of two spare gearboxes, 10 wheels, a later-style independent rear suspension and much more. Find it here on eBay in Sebastopol, California with no reserve. 302/5-Speed Swapped: Refreshed 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 Hardtop
This 1964 Ford Fairlane 500 runs a non-original but entirely appropriate 302/5-speed combo underneath, where elsewhere it’s been treated to new paint, a fresh interior, rebuilt front suspension and more. Sixteen-inch Torq Thrusts are new as well, and round off a simple, good-looking, fun-sounding package. Find it here on Craigslist in Otis Orchards, Washington for $17k.
No SBC Swaps Please: 1937 Rolls Royce Phantom III Project
This 1937 Rolls Royce Phantom III (chassis 3BT87) appears to be offered by the same seller of this 1938 model featured previously on BaT. Much like that slightly newer car, this one wears Hooper aluminum saloon coachwork, although it's obviously a project and sale doesn't include a title. Save for some glass and brightwork, it looks largely complete, however a Rolls B80/B81 straight-eight has replaced the original V12. Jokingly (we hope!), the seller suggests a Chevy V8 swap. Find it here on eBay in Northbrook, Illinois with no reserve and fast bidding.
Mooneyes Style: Lowered 1968 Toyota Publica 800
This 1968 Toyota Publica 800 (chassis UP20128040) is one of 37,262 built for the second generation UP20 chassis car’s final production and penultimate model year. Powered by what is essentially the same air-cooled flat twin as used in the Sports 800, this car looks cool lowered over OEM rolling stock and is said to have a healthy motor.
