51K Mile 1982 Mazda 626 Coupe
This 1982 Mazda 626 coupe is a claimed one-owner car, “driven by an older woman all its life.” Though saddled with an automatic, the car boasts 51k miles from new, and has just two doors as opposed to the usual four. This is a once-common car now rarely seen at all, especially in such exceptionally well-maintained condition. Find it here on eBay in Puyallup, Washington with no reserve.
240 HP & 9000 RPM: RX-8 Swapped 1970 Volkswagen Beetle
This 1970 Volkswagen Beetle has had its original air-cooled boxer four swapped out for a 2005 Mazda RX-8 Renesis 13B Wankel rotary, still mounted in the rear and cooled via plumbing running from a front-fitted radiator. Details are very limited, but we dig the concept and bet that this Bug should really fly if properly dialed-in. Find it here on Craigslist in Spring Valley, California for $5,600. Not Quite Factory: Freshly Built Porsche 962 Replica
This Porsche 962 could technically be termed a replica, though the seller insists that bodywork and chassis dimensions are identical to the real deal, adding that all factory parts will bolt-on directly without modification. Though tube-framed as opposed to monocoque-based factory cars, the seller has extensive experience with these cars and claims to have made five such monocoque examples in the past, opting this time to use 4130 chrome moly tubing for relatively easy fabrication. Power comes from an NA 3.2 liter Porsche flat-six mated to a Lola/Hewland 6-speed sequential box, and though track-tested, the car has never been raced. Last of the Breed: Well-Preserved 1986 Ford Mustang SVO w/ No Reserve
This 1986 Ford Mustang SVO is one of 3,382 produced during the last year of the model’s short ’84-’86 lifecycle. Powered by a 2.3 liter turbocharged and intercooled four-cylinder, it was a Euro-inspired performance alternative to the traditional V8-powered GT. This one is said to be an all-original example, and its 66k total mileage may help substantiate that claim. Find it here on eBay in Las Vegas, Nevada, with no reserve and fast bidding.
