Finally US Legal: 1991 Honda Beat w/ Shipping Included
This 1991 Honda Beat is a claimed early production, first year example that’s ready for US importation under the 25 year rule. The seller describes it as being in nice cosmetic and running condition with no rust, as well as a newer, OEM Honda convertible top. These Pininfarina-styled cars are said to have been the last model personally approved for production by Soichiro Honda, and were designed under Japan’s interesting Kei city car regulations, meaning a maximum length of ~11 feet and an engine capacity limited to 660cc, among others. Kei cars are everywhere in Japan, but two-seater sports models are pretty rare–these ran a naturally aspirated, high-revving triple, and are reportedly a blast to drive. Find this one here on eBay in Berchem, Belgium for $6,500 OBO, which includes shipping to any major North American port.
Road & Track Build w/ A/C: Impressive Lola T70 MkIIIB Replica
This excellent Lola T70 MkIIIB replica was built in 1999 by British GT40 tribute specialists GT Developments. The car looks incredible throughout, and is setup for road or track use with A/C, an intercom, and removable exhaust. Notably, its current owner also has an original T70, and their expertise is said to have come into play when setting this one up. Furthermore, the seller adds that it’s “on the button” and ready to go. Find it here at Vintage & Prestige in Grays, Essex, England for 100k GBP (~$144k USD today). Special thanks to BaT reader J. Louis for this submission.
$700 1986 Subaru XT Turbo AWD Project
This 1986 Subaru XT Turbo has been sitting outside for a few years, and as a result will need new paint and some interior work on the cosmetic side of things. On offer by its second owner on an open title, the boxer four isn’t currently running, but does crank freely. A highly optioned car with adjustable ride height air suspension, AWD, automatic transmission, and (working) digital dash, finding parts will be a chore, but as a scarce and unusual model with what looks like good bones, it deserves better than to be left to rot. Find it here on Craigslist in Baldwin Park, California for $700.
Almost There: Medium Green 1972 Chevrolet Blazer
This 1972 Chevrolet Blazer has a few custom touches which might not appeal to everyone, but the seller describes it as a rust and accident-free example with three owners from new, the second of which kept it for more than 35 years. What looks like factory Medium Green is a respray, and with different wheels and a slightly toned-down interior, this could be a sharp K5. Find it here on Craigslist in Portland, Oregon for $16,950.
