$17K Price Drop Update: Messed With 1966 Jaguar E Type Coupe

a

5/25/2016 Update: A bit under a year later, this 1966 Jaguar E-type FHC is back on offer, apparently by the same seller. The car appears to be unchanged, including its crate ZZ4 350, ZF 6-speed gearbox, and wildly flared bodywork, but the price has been lowered nearly 40%. Says the seller: “The car was built in 1996 and took four years to complete. It was my daily driver for many years after the build was completed, and was driven from North Carolina to California and all over the USA. Car does around 1,800 RPM at 65 MPH. This car was made to be driven anywhere I wanted to go and go with no problems.” A/C is mentioned as well, which if functional could indeed make for a very capable cruiser. Find it here on Craigslist in Oriental, North Carolina for $28k.

Twin Turbo 327 Project: 1970 Jaguar E-Type SII Roadster

Jaguar E - Type XKE roadster 1970

This 1970 Jaguar E-type roadster (chassis 1R13937) has been with the seller for over 35 years, and they describe it as both super solid and accident free. There’s no word on what powers its garage mate, but the primered one runs a twin turbo Chevy 327 and unspecified automatic trans–the seller estimates 500 HP, further calling it a nearly finished project. If it’s taken this long to nearly finish, their alternate suggestion of returning to 4.2 straight-six power might be a good idea. Find it here on Craigslist in Arlington, Virginia for $28,600.

Fantastic Details: 1929 Ford Model A Traditional Hot Rod

A roadster 4

This 1929 Ford Model A is a very nice example of a hot rod classic–the A-V8. Hand-rubbed lacquer covers real Henry steel, and the 239ci 8BA flathead is said to have great power with a wonderful exhaust note. Staggered bias-plys, aeronautical bits and pieces, 1940 “Juice” brakes, and those excellent green wheels all further add to its appeal. Said to start, run, drive, shift and stop perfectly, this one sounds ready to use as it sits. Find it here on eBay in Oak Run, California with reserve not met.

$4K Daily Cruiser: Sausalito Green 1971 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

1971 Cadillac Coupe De Ville

This 1971 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is described as a mechanically sound driver with recent sorting performed in anticipation of regular use, the seller adding that they drive it “almost daily.” Though it’s further described as a restoration candidate with tired leather, the car appears well kept otherwise, and wears an unusual yet attractive factory color combo. If it drives as nice as it looks outside, this could be quite a deal. Find it here on Craigslist in Tomball, Texas for $3,900.
