SBC Powered Restomod: 1938 BMW 328 Cabriolet

a

This 1938 BMW 328 cabriolet (assigned California VIN CA867063) has been heavily customized in order to accommodate a fuel injected SBC and 3-speed GM automatic, though apart from the bright color, exterior changes are relatively subtle. The seller describes a very well built and thoroughly dialed-in car with excellent cosmetics throughout, and though we’re sure it will be controversial, it does indeed come across as a quality build. Find it here on eBay in Santa Barbara, California with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader John L. for this submission.

$32K OBO: 93K Mile 1977 Ferrari 308 GT4 Driver

c

This 1977 Ferrari 308 GT4 (chassis 308CT613928) wears faded paint and a tired interior, but the seller insists that it’s in perfect running and driving condition. The ad seems to suggest that some service records may be available, but with no specific maintenance details, a thorough, professional PPI will definitely be in order–it always would be on a Ferrari, especially a 40 year old example with no history. Still, the car does appear to be straight and complete, and provided rust isn’t too bad, it could be well bought at this ask. Find it here on Craigslist in Sugar Land, Texas for $32,500 OBO.

Lotus Twin Cam Powered: LHD 1969 Lotus Seven

a

This 1969 Lotus Seven (chassis LSB2472) is described as a genuine, factory-built Series 3 car, and not a Caterham or similar continuation model. Further claimed to have been LHD since new, the car looks to be in very nice shape, and is really set apart by its balanced, blueprinted, dry sumped and tuned Lotus twin cam–most ran simple OHV Ford four-cylinders. Find it here on Craigslist in Skagit County, Washington for $32k.

Living Room Art Piece: 1954 Moto Parilla 150 Sport

a

This 1954 Moto Parilla 150 Sport is an interesting little two-stroke single that was purchased by the seller as a display piece for their home. It hasn’t been run during their three year ownership term, but is said to have good compression, a working kick starter, brakes, and clutch–the gearbox shifts as well. It’s been at least partially restored, and apart from a few very small flaws, condition looks excellent. Find it here on Craigslist in Los Angeles, California for $5k. Special thanks to BaT reader Grant P. for this submission.
