Copper Custom: 1957 Lincoln Continental Mark II
This 1957 Lincoln Continental Mark II (chassis C56R3743) is a somewhat unusual choice for a custom considering its hand built prestige and rarity, but the results are pretty impressive nonetheless. Numerous custom touches have been applied throughout–reportedly over 30 modifications to the body alone–but the car retains its original motor and automatic transmission. Said to be a previous Rod and Custom magazine cover car, the seller further claims that it would cost $450k to replicate. Find it here on eBay in Gainesville, Virginia with reserve not met.
All Original w/ 5K Miles: 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4
This 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 (VIN JA3XE74C5NY058531) shows just 4,878 miles on the odometer and is described by the seller as the lowest mileage, 100% original example in existence. Purchased from a storage facility where it’d been kept for over 21 years, blurry, rushed photos don’t flatter it, but what can be made out looks truly impressive. These range-topping twin turbo VR-4 models offered electronically adjustable suspension and aero, AWD, 4WS, and even switchable exhaust tones, and while not the greatest of the 90’s Japanese high-end sports cars, good ones are virtually extinct, making this one truly special. Find this one here on Craigslist in Springfield, Vermont for $29,900. Special thanks to BaT reader Zack H. for this submission.
99.25 out of 100: 27K Mile 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6
This 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 (VIN ZARAA6693G1007660) is described as a one owner, garaged from new, all original example with 26,814 miles. The car is said to have beat out 55 other Alfas at a local show where it was awarded first place and a very impressive score of 99.25, the seller further describing it as wearing excellent paint and flawless bodywork–the interior looks fantastic as well. Find it here on eBay in Eugene, Oregon with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader David W. for this submission.
Three Quarter Deuce w/ GoldWing Power: Custom 1932 Ford Roadster
This 1932 Ford Roadster replica (VIN RC3237) is a 3/4 scale custom build comprised of a fiberglass body and track-style nose on a custom built frame and suspension, with a drivetrain donated from an early flat-four Honda GoldWing motorcycle. Dubbed the “Honster,” the car features impressive build quality and is said to have won its class at the Grand National Roadster Show in 2014. The seller calls it a “proof of concept” show car with only 10 miles since completion, but it definitely looks like a lot of fun. Find it here on eBay in Temecula, California with a $15k BIN.
