No Fauxtina: 1967 Dodge A100

This 1967 Dodge A100 was originally used as a TV repair service van in Burlington, North Carolina, and all patina is the real, hard-earned kind. Put away into storage following retirement many years ago, it’s recently been unearthed and lightly recommissioned for driving with brake and fuel system work, but otherwise remains untouched. The seller says it runs well and drives tight, and 31k recorded miles are believed accurate. Find it here on eBay in Milford, Ohio with reserve not met.

Discreet 32 Valve Swap: 1956 Ford Thunderbird

56 T-Bird front

This 1956 Ford Thunderbird is complete from Continental kit to factory wheel covers, and now has a transplanted ’93 Mark VIII 32 valve V8 underhood. OBD I and a check engine light have been wired in, while the Lincoln’s 4-speed AOD transmission handles gear changes. The car wears an honest looking patina, and the seller says it’s an excellent driver. Find it here on Jalopy Journal in Loveland, Ohio for $27k.

Flathead V8 Project: 1939 Ford Omnibus

This 1939 Ford omnibus is a great looking flathead V8 equipped project, and though not entirely free of rust, it does seem to be largely complete including all seats–the correct truck spec 99T engine spins freely, too. It’s too cool to be left to rot, and we’d love to see it restored with cool NEW YORK CITY OMNIBUS CORPORATION markings and livery retained. Find it here on eBay in Saugerties, New York for $8,500 OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.

Late 50’s DKW Project Pair: Auto Union 1000 SP & 3=6 Universal Estate

These two Auto Unions, a 1958 1000 SP (chassis 6815000190) and a 1959 3=6 Universal Estate (chassis 69611024), are both described as “barn finds,” and are on offer by the same seller in separate auctions. Each car features an interesting two-stroke triple and front wheel drive, and they’re both fairly complete with decent, restorable looking bodywork. Find them both on eBay, the coupe here and the wagon here, each in Boulevard, California with reserves not met.
