"For all you old MB vacuum system owners. I will give you a very old testing technique we used when these cars were still under warranty and works great. We took an old restaurant style plastic refillable ketchup bottle with the pointed tip cap (1 dollar for a pack of two at the dollar store). Drill or poke about a 1/4" inch hole in the side of the bottle to let it breath when you pump it. light a cigarette and stick it in the inside of the cap, filter first into the nozzle and put it in the bottle while screwing on the cap. Pump the bottle a few times by covering the whole in the side and squeezing it, releasing the hole to let air back in the bottle. You should be blowing smoke. (kids use to call this a power hitter and used it at party's or something). Insert the the nozzle end of the bottle into the main vacuum line going into the vehicle and slowly pump hold pressure for a minute or so and then go through and look at where all the vacuum actuators and components would be.…"
