"I bought the 1977 450SL with the Euro headlights and Nardi wheel that was featured here around Christmas. It attracted many positive comments, I found the price irresistible and it presented as precisely the decent driver level car I sought. It shipped and landed here less than 48 hours after the sale ended. I budgeted for about $3k - $5k in mechanical repairs and find myself well under the lower figure, as the anticipated a/c problems were minor and in fact required none of the replacement parts that came with the car.
Ours is white with an identical interior, aside from wood dash inserts. It is my first 107 and I am astonished at the comments and looks these get. I just thought these were a nice older GT car, but many others apparently hold them in higher esteem than I formerly did.
