"My elderly neighbour, the organist at the local church, also had a 73 RS while his wife drove a 356. He sold the car in 2006 & said he struggled to get £66000 for it back then. He told me that while getting spares for his wife's car he was talked into buying 8 nearly complete cars from the parts guy who was calling it a day. Luckily he had a big driveway! He took all the bits he thought he might need & sold the cars for a song. He moved house last year & i missed his final day…"
