During those days, the dealer would let a prospective buyer test-drive a car by taking it home and keeping it overnight. These cars were demos and were usually beautiful, loaded, top-of-the-line cars.
I remember my mother and me waiting outside to see him as he arrived. And here he came in a 1957 Star…"
