"I left a Flaminia GT get away by leaving it sitting in a wrecking yard while we busied ourselves retrieving a bunch of Jaguars. The crew with crushers were moving quickly and our shop focus was Jaguar, so we were after them first. We watched the crew put a 1961 Corvette into the crusher; when we told them that 'save' written on the fender meant 'don't crush this' we learned that most of the crew couldn't read and those that could didn't care, as they were getting paid by the car.
