"Five years ago a gentleman from Europe contacted me about a professionally fully rebuilt Miura SV spec engine and transaxle I had. He explained that he had a Miura with a small block Chevy engine installed and wanted to restore it to original. He started to try and lowball me on price until I explained he was free to go look for another and that his Miura was a rolling parts car worth at that time $100k to $150k but with my engine and transaxle installed it was worth $750k to $1m. Sold!"
