"Vanagon ownership is an incurable disease. I've been around them from the beginning in 1980. I was working at a VW dealership when I saw my first one--it was all white. I thought it was hideous. But then, like an ugly dog that only it's human can love, I was hooked. I'm on my 3rd one, an 86 Syncro tin top. I can't count the number of good times these vans have given me and my family."
