"I was involved in the sale of this car from the SVT side as their finance guy. At the time, we had several non-road legal prototypes which there was no interest in keeping. The original yellow magazine cover car from Vmax testing was one of them. There were also a couple of street legal/saleable cars. We did have to get the lawyers to agree to a lot of stipulations, but eventually it was done.
