"I bought my first MINI in 2003, an R53, and drove it for 12 years hitting every state east of the Mississippi and a few to the west. Since that time, I've owned at least two of every MINI generation and there's always been at least one MINI in the family for the past 19 years, usually two. I loved my original R53 and still regret selling it seven years ago. I started looking for another R53 six months ago to use as a daily driver so I don't put a lot of local miles on my GP2 or Boxster.…"
