"928's are made to go somewhere. 911's are great for weekend, canyon carving ( no traffic) but not so much for long trips with luggage. I put about 6000 miles on my 86.5 going across country ( this is big country ) to the Pittsburgh GP in July. I averaged about 18.5 mpg ( less when stuck with ethanal laced gas) and used about 1/3 qt of oil. I did a few 10 hours behind the wheel days along with a number of 120mph + moments. No problems! Gotta remember these are 35+ year old cars. 2 other 928's…"
