"My mom, the coolest mother who ever lived, had one almost exactly like this (she had to have yellow), and she had to have houndstooth. Three stripe styles were available, and this is the one she liked. She always drove a Chevy and she always ordered the biggest engine. Even though she could drive a stick, she got Hydra-Matic because she wanted the stirrup shifter. I miss that wonderful woman."
