"I live 5 miles from the old Lorain Ford plant where this car was made. When I was a kid one of our neighbors worked at the plant in the quality assurance office. He would drive a different car home every day, then back to work the next day. I suppose he had a checklist or write up sheet to address any problems.
We would always be excited when he would bring home one of the performance versions. His sons were about my age and he gave us all stickers with the cobra and the burning rubber tires…"
