"Peter Egan would often go out to his garage with a cup of coffee and admire the view of one of the many cars that passed through his doors, including a Lotus Elan. He would write wonderful articles describing the beautiful flowing lines and unique characteristics of the particular vehicle he was enjoying. I really enjoyed his writings and still re-read his "Side Glances" articles.
