BaT Auction #10: Now Open for Bidding! We're pleased to announce our tenth installment of BaT Auctions! This week features an awesome array of sports cars, trucks, and cruisers. The 1981 Porsche DP 935 is a genuine period Kremer car in black/black with all original paint. The 1956 Imperial sedan is a restored example from a fanatical enthusiast owner. The 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 has all original paint and over $30,000 in repairs and maintenance. A 1965 Triumph TR4 wears rarely seen Royal Blue paint and has a great look and is offered by a repeat BaT seller. The 1967 Morris Minor Pickup is a charmer and features some well-chosen drivability modifications. Finally, the 1987 Mazda RX-7 Sport is a rare single-year model with a 5-speed that has been well-maintained. Click here to read more...   Ex-Le Mans & Daytona: 1968 Howmet TX Turbine-Powered Racer This 1968 Howmet TX (chassis #GTP2, Turbine eXperimental) is one of two built as a collaboration between driver Ray Happenstall, chassis builder Bob McKee and the Howmet Corporation, an Ohio-based aerospace industry supplier which built housings for turbines. The only jet-powered cars to ever win a race, period competition use included runs at Watkins Glen, Daytona, Le Mans and more. This particular car was comprehensively restored in 2005 and is offered in ready to race condition, the previous owner having campaigned it extensively including runs at the Spa and Le Mans Classics. Click here to read more...   500+ Cleaning Hours: 84k-Mile 1979 Mercedes Benz 300TD This 1979 Mercedes Benz 300TD station wagon was rescued by the seller from a Mojave Desert wrecking yard, and he has spent hundreds of hours cleaning it and making it look like new. This in an 84k mile example, which is about 1/3 of the mileage we usually see on these. The paint is all original, and we love seeing this model on hubcaps instead of the usual Bundt alloys.  Find it here on eBay in Encino, California with no reserve.
