Pretzel Window: Impressive 1952 Volkswagen Beetle

Early Pretzel Window: 1952 Volkswagen Beetle

This 1952 Volkswagen Beetle was originally delivered to NY state and over the years has made it’s way to the West Coast where it now resides. This early bug has been the subject of several magazine and video features over the last few years, and it isn’t hard to see why. Mileage is listed at just over 25k, and a thorough restoration some years ago with a more recent refreshing has kept it looking very good. It can be found here on eBay in Aguanga, California with reserve not met.

00N0N_hgkWya4zAo2_600x450

This 1991 Jaguar XJ-S is said to be a rust free example with several worthwhile upgrades. These days it is easy to find one of these cars for short money, but unfortunately most have been driven hard and put away wet. This example retains its V12 and sounds to be in decent driver condition. Find it here on Craigslist in Chester County, Pennsylvania for $3,800. Special thanks to BaT reader Jake N. for this submission.

Huffaker IMSA Tribute: 1985 Pontiac Fiero Racer

Pontiac Fiero SD4 IMSA Race Car

This 1985 Pontiac Fiero racer is not a true IMSA car, but was the last in a series built to replicate the famous Huffaker Fieros run in that series during the 1980’s. Believed to be pushing over 300 HP, the seller says it outran several GT1 class cars at a recent Blackhawk Farms track outing. Find it here on eBay in Jonesboro, Arkansas with no reserve beyond an unmet $12k opening bid. Special thanks to BaT reader Lucas H. for this submission.

Euro Spec 1965 Mercedes Benz 220SEb Sedan

benz1

This 1965 Mercedes Benz 220SEb is an automatic-equipped model exported from Germany to Canada 43 years ago, the ad further claiming that it’s always been garaged and only fair weather driven since then. Said to be largely original with fully sorted mechanics, sale includes what sounds to be extensive service documentation. Find it here on Craigslist in Waterloo, ON, Canada for $10k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Julius H. for this submission.

This collection of project Lancias have not been driven for what the seller says is “well over 20 years”. All five are Betas, including an interesting HPE shooting brake, and none seem to be running. Though it would take a big effort, there has to be enough here to get at least one going again. Find them here on Craigslist in Sacramento, California for $300 each. Special thanks to BaT reader Art S. for this submission.

No Reserve: International Harvester S-140 4x4

This 1956 International Harvester S-140 is an unusual factory 4×4 from an era when four wheel drive was still somewhat of a novelty. A Northern California sourced truck, it’s said to have just over 27k miles from new.
