Long Low & Wide: Chopped 1955 Cadillac DeVille Sled
This 1955 Cadillac DeVille (chassis 556293397), dubbed “The Bronze God” is a very cool looking custom and seems to be the product of an extremely high quality build process. The style is one which is often attempted, but rarely as well-executed as here. Has a ’55 Cadillac ever looked any more sleek? Find it here on eBay in Portland, Oregon with an unmet $115k opening bid and additional reserve.
$300 Each: Five Lancia Beta Projects
This collection of project Lancias have not been driven for what the seller says is “well over 20 years”. All five are Betas, including an interesting HPE shooting brake, and none seem to be running. Though it would take a big effort, there has to be enough here to get at least one going again. Find them here on Craigslist in Sacramento, California for $300 each. Special thanks to BaT reader Art S. for this submission.
43K Mile Creampuff: 1984 Jaguar XJ-6 Vanden Plas
This 1984 Jaguar XJ-6 Vanden Plas edition is a 43k mile example that’s been garaged in Northern California car from new and is currently up for sale by its third owner. These models are becoming a bit scarcer these days and can make great and relatively inexpensive luxury cruisers provided you start with a good one. Find this one here on Craigslist in Sacramento, California for $8,900. Special thanks to BaT reader David S. for this submission.
Not a NAPCO: 1956 International Harvester S-140 4×4
This 1956 International Harvester S-140 is an unusual factory 4×4 from an era when four wheel drive was still somewhat of a novelty. A Northern California sourced truck, it’s said to have just over 27k miles from new. Further claimed solid with only surface rust, the truck runs and drives but brakes are currently a little soft and could use some work. Find it here on eBay in Post Falls, Idaho with no reserve.
