Dual Citizenship: Re-Imported 1965 Iso Rivolta IR 340

a

This 1965 Iso Rivolta IR 340 (chassis 360311) is said to have originally been sold new in the US, but was shipped back to visit the other half of its family in Italy sometime after 1973. Since imported back in 2014, the car remains unregistered, and is sold on a bill of sale. Import documentation is included, but DMV red tape may be difficult to navigate without a proper title. The seller says it’s a dream to drive, and though specifics are limited, it’s pretty clear that the car has been restored. Colors are great, and if as nice as photos seem to suggest, this one could be worth the trouble. Find it here on eBay in Brisbane, California with an unmet $25k starting bid and additional reserve.

Pre-Thing: 1943 Volkswagen Type 82 Kubelwagen

a

This 1943 Volkswagen Type 82 Kubelwagen is one of fifty-thousand or so built between 1940 and ’45. Imported from Germany to Detroit in 1969, a senior Chrysler employee is said to have restored it with the use of an unspecified, postwar VW chassis and matching 25 HP motor. Flood Damaged 1976 Jaguar XK12-C Project

1976 Jaguar XJ12C Coupe (Rare, collectible)

This 1976 Jaguar XJ12-C Coupe (chassis UG2G50435BW) is one of 1,855 built over a five year production run. Find it here on Craigslist in Auburn, Washington for $2,500.

Mini, Van: 1989 Suzuki Alto Panel

1989 Suzuki Alto Panel Van- Great for Advertising!!!!

This 1989 Suzuki Alto panel van is an interesting Kei-class machine that’s said to have been properly imported and registered. The seller says it runs great, and the odometer shows 49k kilometers–just over 30k miles. Power comes from a 660cc triple, driving the front wheels through a 4-speed manual. The minimally styled, upright bodywork and corrugated panels give it a kind of mini Citroen H-van vibe, and cab access is by a sliding door on the left or a horizontally split tailgate–there is no driver’s door. Find it here on Craigslist in Bellingham, Washington for $4,995. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
