This 1958 Morgan Plus Four 2-seater bustleback was restored by the seller from a pile of parts on the garage floor, and has about 5k miles added since then. The seller calls the car totally rust free, and the frame and suspension bits were powder coated. The car has been upgraded to front disk brakes and has a TR4 engine with twin SU carbs. The seller completed a 3 week tour of New Zealand in the car, and a similar tour in California/Oregon, and says that it is totally dependable. It is now available in Jacksonville, Oregon for $37,500. This 1988 R88C Group C car has an interesting race history including a run at the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans. One of only four built, this car is powered by a twin-turbocharged, 2996 CC, DOHC V8 with 740+ HP on tap. In the final years before chicanes were added, similar Group C protoypes would regularly hit 250+ MPH on Mulsanne--we weren't able to confirm exactly how fast the R88C went, but it's likely to be close to that number. Find it here at Oakfields in Hampshire, England for 550k GBP (~$903,100 today). Click here to read more... |
This 1956 Lincoln MKII (chassis C5601419) is said to be all original, matching numbers, and mostly complete. It currently runs, drives and stops but will need a complete restoration. There's some compelling but circumstantial evidence that the car may have been modified by George Barris, and though a neat possibility the car is easily strong enough on its own merits that we'd feature it either way. Find it here on eBay in Seminole, Florida with a $12,500 BIN. Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
