This 1961 Lotus Elite Series II is said to be a competition car from the factory, and has since been prepared to FIA-Spec, and includes all paperwork including VDCA and HSR race history. The car comes with a rebuilt Stage III engine, recent suspension work, and the body is said to have magnificent panel fit and paint. The seller indicates an unspecified fascinating ownership history, and we wouldn't mind being added to that list. Find this one here on Hemmings in Atlanta, Georgia for $98,5oo. This lot sale is for three Triumph roadster projects originally collected by a would-be father and son restoration team. Over ambitiousness, lack of time, funds, and skills eventually conspired against their completion, but all three are worthy of further preservation, with the 1978 Spitfire sounding to be nearly ready to go as-is. The other two are a small mouth ?57 TR3 and a mostly disassembled ?60 TR3A. Find the all three sold as a lot here on eBay in Silver Spring, Maryland with no reserve. Click here to read more... |
This 1987 BMW M3 will leave the CCA judges and value speculators scratching their heads and breathing tire smoke. This is the first one we have seen on offer with a V10 engine swap from a E60 M5, which is said to put down 550 horsepower. The car features coilovers and hefty 19" wheels, and is quite cleanly prepared, not really hinting at the engine swap with anything other than the exhaust note, which must be insane. Find it here on Mobile.de in Sweden for 40,000 euros (today ~$55k). Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
