After a relaxed start in Sacramento this morning, we managed to cross three separate passes in the Sierra Nevada range, charging hard for the majority of the way. Several inches of snow fell at the higher elevations last night, but it had all been cleared by the time we reached the passes, so they ended up being high-speed passes lined with picturesque views and water spray. The Alfa performed well, adding 400 kilometers to its odometer, and we learned to play a momentum game while trying to chase larger displacement cars up the grades.
