BaT Exclusive: Clean 1961 MGA 1600 Coupe This 1961 MGA 1600 coupe (VIN GHDL 88221) has been with the seller since 1993, during which time it?s received a lot of work towards making it a better car including a thorough restoration, which was completed in 2003. The car came from Mexico, and is believed to have started its life there, and as a result has always remained rust-free. Restoration documentation includes photos and receipts, with paint alone said to cost roughly $15k. The car looks nice and clean throughout, and apart from a few minor issues like an incorrect battery and original wipers that are past their prime, the car sounds very well sorted.
