This 1970 Triumph Spitfire Mark III (chassis 86358) is a transitional year model, meaning it features many nice upgrades of the following MKIV but with the original, round tail as Michelotti intended. The car has been extensively restored, both cosmetically and mechanically, and upon completion in 2011 took first place in class at the United British Sports Car Club Show in Sacramento, California. Sympathetically upgraded with many period correct components (see below), the car is described as being built with driving in mind. It is now available near San Francisco, California for $10k OBO.

This 1977 DeTomaso Pantera Group C Racer (Chassis 0001) is described as the last factory homologated DeTomaso ever built, and is said to have been completely refreshed without being over-restored to retain the period race-ready appearance. The car is currently running with a mildly-built 351 Cleveland powerplant, but the seller indicates that a full race engine can be prepared for an extra cost. The car would need to be fully updated to meet current race specs, but it is believed that this chassis was originally bodied as the Group 5 Pantera that raced at Le Mans. Find this one here on eBay in Fallbrook, California for $195k.

This 1955 AC Aceca (chassis AEX 525) is actually a combination of two cars?the coupe?s aluminum body and a 1962 Ruddspeed/AC Ace (chassis RSX 509) roadster?s special mechanicals. One of 35 built, the Ruddspeed was raced by a Portuguese nobleman who had it returned to the factory a number of times in order to increase its spec to stage four or five. This car burned in 1964, sat for years in storage, and at some unspecified point had its mechanicals transferred to the Aceca. Find this interesting mongrel here at gullwingsearch.com near London, England for 89,950 GBP (~$150,855 today). Special thanks to reader Kevin G. for the submission!
