Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

This 1931 Ford roadster was first built as a hot rod in the 1950s and still sports an original ?36 dashboard installed at that time. In 2009, the car was resurrected by a young hot rod builder in Fort Worth, Texas, who preserved the real Henry steel body, added a modified ?32 frame, and built a 350 SBC roller motor matched to a GM Powerglide transmission, with everything else new or rebuilt to new. The current seller found it when we featured it here on BaT  in 2010 (link), when it was cosmetically excellent but needed minor mechanical sorting. He has installed a few upgrades and brought the brakes and details up to a high level, and has driven it 2000 miles. The low-boy style with deeply channeled body and Z?d frame provide a striking stance, and the deep red finish, two-tone ?tuck-n-roll? interior, Coker whitewalls and Olds spinner wheel covers give the car a high quality traditional look. The car was featured at the Concours on the Avenue in Carmel, California in August, 2011 and appeared at the last 4 GoodGuys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, CA. It is now available in Saratoga, California for $34,900.

This 2009 Radical SR8 LM (chassis 00080) is a lightly used example of the current Nurburgring Nordschleife street tire lap time record holder (a blistering 6:48?see this link) that is only being offered by the seller because he has decided it?s just too scary??I?m going back to racing my GT1 Porsches which are a LOT SLOWER?. Powered by a 2.8 liter flat plane crank V8, the car offers 460 HP, a 1,500 pound curb weight, lots of downforce and is essentially a low production, privateer LMP car. Amazingly, they even make a street version the UK. It is now available in Costa Mesa, California for $79,500.

This 1955 Woodill Wildfire (chassis WW9915) is said to be one of about 30 remaining out of the original 100 or so built. Restored in 2011, the car has been shown at several concours cince and was an award winner at the 2013 Goodguys Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. One of the first fiberglass sports cars, B.R. Woodill was a successful California Willys dealer who decided to build his own car after deciding that an XK Jaguar was too expensive. Find this one here on eBay in Fenton, Michigan for $65k OBO.
