This 1974 Porsche 911 (chassis 9114102980) has been transformed into a radical street/track machine running a full cage, built suspension, and custom 3.5L twin-plug motor. Previously featured in Excellence magazine as the subject of a five page story, the car is well known, well developed, and competitive. Comprehensive build details are available on a separate sheet contained within the Flickr gallery below, and the seller describes its development as being a no expense spared process. Sold with both NASA GT2 and NCRC GT1 logbooks, he adds that it outruns 996 GT3s from a standing start with ease. It is now available in San Francisco, California for $55,000. This 2005 Pontiac GTO race car (VIN 6G2VX12G14L278824) was purpose-built nine years ago from a bare tub, with the fabricating shop Spirit of Daytona Racing said to have spared no cost in the process. The last GM-sponsored GTO race car that competed in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, the car's history includes drives by Marc-Antoine Camirand and use on circuits like Daytona, VIR, Laguna Seca, Mid-Ohio and more. The spec sheet is both lengthy and impressive. Commissioning is reported to have cost over $145k, and following a recent refresh, the seller says it is sold in race-ready condition. It is now available in Atlanta, Georgia for $48,000. Click here to read more... | Also new on Bring a Trailer:
