This 1988 635CSI has been built into a tubbed, tube chassis drag car, and though very little unmodified BMW remains part of its build, we can't help but smile to see it's powered by a 1,000+ HP, turbocharged M30B34. Though a bit dusty from sitting, the car appears to have been built to quite a good standard, and is said to have run a 9.17 quarter mile pass running a small block Chevy. An E24 is just about the last basis we'd think to build a drag racer around, and we applaud the builder's slightly off-kilter sense of humor. Find it here on eBay in Vero Beach, Florida for $85k OBO. Special thanks to reader Jim C. for the submission!
