Bring a Trailer Daily Mail

8/6/2014 Update: The four cars in our second auction event are now open for bidding. We found that 95% of the bidding action came in the last 12 hours of the auction last week, so we have now shortened the live bidding window to be entirely on the second day. Wednesday is now our favorite day of the week. We have also upgraded the photo galleries in the listings with a field of easy-to-zoom thumbnails. But most important, some new back-end configurations should mean that the server speed will be much faster in the final minutes this week. Thanks for all your excellent feedback over the last 7 days. Keep it coming! We are excited to watch the bidding with you today and see BaT Auctions get better and better. Click here for the BaT Auctions page with links to all four cars below, and be sure to watch the action as the bids post in the comment streams as each auction closes!

No Reserve Split Window: 19K Mile 1963 Chevrolet Corvette

This 1963 Corvette (chassis 30837S104985) shows a claimed-accurate 18k and change on its odometer and was recently pulled from 20 years of storage. A lower spec 327/250 HP, Powerglide equipped model, the car received a factory-color respray and had its matching-numbers motor rebuilt sometime prior to its extended nap. The seller mentions very minor surface rust, but under-body photos appear to show a very clean, solid car, and though currently running they add it will need some tuning to be fully drivable. Find it here on eBay in Las Vegas, Nevada with no reserve.

Rare in the USA: 1970 Peugeot 204 Cabriolet Project

This 1970 Peugeot 204 cabriolet (chassis 6419653) is somewhat of a rarity in the US, and though largely complete, the car will need rust repair prior to being drivable again. Purchased by the seller from Canada, they claim to have driven it for a number of years with little trouble before corrosion set in, and though floor pans are quite crusty the rest of the car seems relatively solid. It's a great looking little convertible, and provided rust is as limited as pictures suggest we think it'd make a great restoration project. Find it here on eBay in Pensacola, Florida with no reserve and sub-$2k bidding.
