BaT Auction #8: Live Now! BaT Auction #8 is now live and open for bidding! We've been pleased with a wide variety of models and price points submitted thus far, and this week is no different. The factory Alpina B7 and La Carrera Ford Falcon are two purpose-built, kick-ass cars with rather different lineages. The Alfa Romeo GTV features interesting details and a modern fuel injection set-up. An immaculate Triumph TR3-A from a fanatical Triumph enthusiast is a chance at redemption for those who missed out on the hotly contested black one. Rounding out the group is an MG Midget and Saab 900 Turbo, both excellent low-mile examples of from private party enthusiast owners. Click here to read more...   No Reserve: 29-Years-Stored 1971 Datsun 240Z This 1971 Datsun 240Z (chassis HLS30-28461) was purchased from the widow of the original owner just a few months ago. That original owner drove the car for 14 years and then parked the car for the next 29 years. It wears both blue California plates, the rear with its final 1985 renewal sticker. The panels line up very well, and though the paint is not claimed to be factory, we suspect that it might be. Find it here on eBay in Sunnyvale, California. Click here to read more...   Vintage Oval: 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Daytona Speedway Racer Project This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Daytona speedway car was last raced in 1973 at the Permatex 300, and though rough now it's said to be largely complete and is sold with a correct, spare 427. Fantastic period black and white photos show the car dicing on ovals with competitors, and the seller says it has been officially accepted into an unnamed historic stock car racing organization. Find it here on eBay in Edgewater, Florida with a single, $10k bid and reserve not met.
